These fine slabs are slightly below and to the right of Sergeant Crag. They are home to some of the best slab pitches in the Lakes !! Of note are Lakeland Cragsman (HVS) and Aphasia (E2).
Approach notes
Descent from the crag has been subject to a lot of debate over the last few years. Park at Stonethwaite. Walk up the valley on a road and then a track past a campsite, then turn right up the Langstrath Valley. After 200m, cross the river (at a footbridge). Walk up the left bank of the river (facing upstream) and after 1 mile, at a striking rock tower, locate a steep path that heads uphill to the crag (50 mins).

Although the weather forecast for Tuesday has improved a bit, it still looks like showers in the afternoon leading to heavier rain by the evening. Therefore I am cancelling this meet. I am not able to reconvene it for Thursday, but if the weather improves, maybe someone else can take this on.
Hopefully full summer sun will return soon!
