Raven Crag Combe Gill Borrowdale

The weather for the rearranged Raven Crag (Combe Gill) meet on Thursday looking OK, although the crag is notoriously slow to dry at least Corvus will be climbable, so the meet is ON.
Parking area 100 yards up the Thorneythwaite farm access road (///senior.encourage.teams). Approach up the track opposite the parking and then, once you enter The Combe, keep to the west (right as you are looking) of the gill and the crag appears ahead of you. There was far more rainfall overnight than forecast, and now the wind is predicted to remain gale-force all day. So the three of us signed up for today’s Raven Crag meet have decided to cancel the event.
