Yew Crag Knotts Meet

Although there was some seepage on the harder routes at Yew Crag Knotts most of the crag was dry. The outcrop is west-facing and affords excellent views down the Honister Pass to Butteremere. Myself, Dave H, Mark, Jonathan C and Ian M were joined by two prospective new members, David Glover and Chris. Dave and Chris are based in Ambleside and keen to explore our northern crags. The KMC have not been to this location before but it deserves not to be ignored. Routes ascended: Yew Crag Needle, Sweep, The Chimney and The Garden Wall. Some robust herbage in the last climb listed only added depth to the experience. Then to the Fish to round off a pleasant afternoon.
