The current weather forecast for Borrowdale on Tuesday afternoon is for showers with a 60% possibility of thunderstorms. Given how unsettled the weather is at present, I will check again in the morning before calling the meet on or off.

The forecast remains unsettled with 60% to 70% chance of thunderstorms for early evening so tonight’s meet is off. Thursday looks a bit better but not much so I’m cancelling rather than postponing. The Met office promises more settled weather arriving by the weekend – let’s hope it’s the right kind of settled weather fro climbing!
