Great meets list – just one flaw for me – only one Head End. If anyone decides to have a mini-meet up there, can they give me a shout on: threya@btinternet.com as I can’t go on WhatsApp as I don’t have a smartphone.
Ref. the Yorkshire trip to Robin Proctor’s – there’s also great climbing (trad) at Twistleton Scar – hundreds of climbs at all grades and the crag must be half a mile long! Good parking too.
Carol O.A pleasant walk was had in improving weather (we hardly got wet at all until a few spots at the end) and we finished in sunshine. David and Lorrraine and a lovely little Jack Russell joined me (see their photos on Whatsapp). The gorge was spectacular in spate (wish I’d taken my camera with me as well) and we had nice food in the Muddy Duck at Caldbeck after.
The weather for the Faulds Brow walk is okay so the walk is on. Meeting at Caldbeck Village Hall carpark at 1030. My mobile is 07538 768959

I can’t get onto the website as my laptop is too old/outdated so can’t see details for parking etc. Also there was a mention of car-sharing? I’m coming from Bolton New Houses if I can car-share with anyone?
