Looks like it could stay dry on Saturday until evening, so I’m going ahead with this meet. Raven Crag, Yewdale is at low altitude, giving excellent scrambling on rough rock, nowhere serious – grade 2, 3 star.
The nearest parking is along the narrow lane on the north side of Yewdale – signposted Hodge Close – either almost immediately just before the bridge or further along the narrow lane (please don’t block passing places). I am aiming to leave the parking area by 10.15.
Lift available from the Cockermouth Business Park at 9a.m. and can arrange to pick people up in Keswick on the way through. Please confirm by e-mail if you want a lift.
