What a gorgeous evening to be high up in Honister. Nine of us headed up to the crags, some of us stayed on the lower buttress doing Holly Tree grooves and Flake and Crag or at least that what we were meaning to do! Others were on the much cleaner rock of Yew Crag Knotts where I know the Chimney was climbed but I’m not sure of the other routes that Bob and co. did. I went over to find them when we’d finished climbing on the other crag but could’t see any sign of them until I was virtually back at the car and heard voices. They had moved over to Zorro buttress where we could see one of them ascending the cave pitch. We left them to it and had a quick (very slow) pint in the Fish, next time the Bridge beckons. Climbers present we’re myself, Roland, Michael K, Jonathan C, Ian, Rob, Bob, Jonny and Matt.
