I have consulted various forecasts in the hope of finding a good one. However, the general consensus is the the high fells will be drizzly, cold and windy, with poor visibility. Not a day for slithering around on classic, well-polished routes – supposing they can actually be located in the murk. (We once walked right past Napes Needle in a fog and ended up in an unpleasant gully!)
Therefore, alas, the Napes meet is cancelled again. It is one of my favourite crags, so should summer return, I’ll try to fit another attempt to organise a meet up there.
