Who needs to go to Portugal when a perfect evening climbing on sun-drenched rock in beautiful Borrowdale is on offer. Seventeen of us thought no thanks: Jamie, Fiona, Andrew S, Mark, Jon T, Dave H, Roland, Dave A, Fiona, Jonathan, Steve P, Jonny, Mike C, Brendan, Bob, Matt, Richard E. There were numerous ascents of the Brown slabs routes, Ardus and Little Chamonix were also not ignored. Probably others as well that I didn’t manage to clock.
