Scramble – Brown Cove Crags Saturday 1 Apr 2023

Hi to all, Well what a great day on the hill today. Brown Crag Cove.
We all met at Swirls car park at 0930hrs. All geared up for a Classic
Scramble on Brown Crag Cove.
The weather forecast for Saturday was not to bad. We started off in
The April sun shine, but we soon had all four seasons in one day.
We broke down into three smaller groups for safe rope management on the crag.
Two routes were done, Central Buttress grade III 3 star, and
Parts of Slab and Slot grade III 2star.
The decent down was via Brown Crag Cove Gully. Two absails,
and back to the bottom of the crag for a spot of Lunch.
The team were as follows – Mark H, Mark W, Jonney, Geraint,
Steve, Kath, Jamie, Stuart, Mike K, and Brendan.
