The weather on Scafell is poor at the moment with heavy snow showers today and tomorrow. The forecast for Saturday is better but with max temperature of 4 degrees ( feels like 0) and the possibility of showers in the afternoon this meet will not go ahead. Sundays forecast is worse.
However Saturdays temperatures at low levels are much more amenable so I suggest that a visit to Langdale Raven Crag would a suitable alternative, 10 degrees, will catch any sun that is about and a 15 minute walk from the car if there is a shower.
