The forecast for Tuesday 3rd looks promising, so unless things change dramatically the meet to Quayfoot Quarry and Woden’s Face will go ahead as scheduled. I plan to arrive soon after 4pm.
The Bowderstone car park is right next to Quayfoot Quarry and can be found just off the Borrowdale Road, B5289. The carpark charges are £5 for 2 hours or £7 for 4 hours, though free to National Trust members. Please join us afterwards at the Wetherspoons in Keswick.
Woden’s face provides some good opportunities for new leaders while Quayfoot offers challenges for more experienced leaders. Bowderstone pinnacle, Woden’s pinnacle and Hells wall are all within easy reach.
