Dear KMC Members,
Over the last few seasons we have been uploading details of our meets to our Facebook Group page; as well as advertising them on the events page of our website, seasonally via the Meet Lists, and event-by-event via email and WhatsApp.
It is becoming increasingly complex and time consuming to upload events to Facebook and it seems to the Committee that advertising our events to members is well-served by the combination of Website Events page, WhatsApp , seasonal list and email. Hence, we plan to stop uploading events to Facebook, leaving the Facebook page for advertising as it directs prospective members to the website so they can get to know us and, if applicable, start the membership application process.
Members will still be able to message via our private FB Group Page although that messaging role now largely seems to have been superseded by the very active WhatsApp groups.
