Hi KMC members.
The first evening meet is a week on Tuesday. Headend Quarry is a great venue to get going again after a long break from climbing – easy grades, short routes, straight forward top roping; very friendly. 30 seconds walk from the road!
…It even catches the evening sun ☀️

NB I’m suffering with a shoulder problem so I’ll not be leading but can top rope, second and belay. The after-climb pint 🍻 pub will be the Sun Inn, Bassenthwaite village (as it’s got a large car park and beer garden).
