Gimmer Crag, Langdale Saturday 17 Jun 2023

Hi to all, Well the meet on Gimmer Crag Langdale yesterday was very successful, and enjoyed by all. We meet at the Stickle Barn car park in Great Langdale at 0900hrs, and a Group of 12 set off up the hill to Gimmer Crag. The weather was dry, and overcast, but still very warm.
We got to the gearing up point, and split into three smaller groups. It was very busy at the foot of Ash Tree slabs, with a bit of waiting around. That’s when the sky went dark, and we had a shower of rain, but it didn’t last to long, and it soon dryed up. So off we all went in all directions to our first Climbs.
Ash Tree slabs, A Route, B Route, C Route, Herdwick Buttress, North West Arete, The Crack, and Bracket and Slab.
