Well, this is unprecedented – it may actually be TOO HOT TO CLIMB! But at least the crag will be dry.
To avoid the uphill slog in the worst of the heat, I intend to set out from Honister no earlier than 4pm, aiming to be at the crag by around 4.30-ish.

The main attraction at Gillercombe is the classic Gillercombe Buttress, but Grey Knotts Face is an ‘entertaining’ diff, and there is also an excellent scramble.
