Consensus of various forecasts, for SW Lakes, is for heavy rain and thunder overnight with a high likelihood (80%+) of heavy showers continuing through until Sat lunchtime and then possibly resuming late afternoon. Given the monsoon conditions for the last few days, and having been over in the Duddon yesterday, everything is currently totally saturated. So sadly, there is no alternative but to cancel Saturday’s meet. Let’s hope for an Indian Summer…..
