Dovesnest meet on Tuesday is looking dubious, although, as the forecast is for showers, I will make the final call Monday evening.
Parking area 100 yards up the Thorneythwaite farm access road, they may have put an honesty box there for donations. Approach up the track opposite the parking and then, once you enter The Combe, cross and keep to the left of the gill continuing until the crag appears in front and up to the left. The crag has good rock with routes from VD to E1, mostly with a star. Dovenest also has a large number of good clean but shorter routes on the associated Dovenest Slabs although these tend to be poorly protected or even solo adventures. If the meet is on I will be on the crag before 4 so just let me know if you are coming or if you need any more information
