Forecast: Currently looking OK for dry conditions on Saturday.
Start Time: Please note start time of 9.30 – early start is advisable to maximise parking opportunities.
Parking: There is a tiny parking area in the hamlet itself, by the telephone box, and various areas on the road into the hamlet where parking is possible on the verges. If using this option please take care not to obstruct access or inconvenience people living and working in the village. The preferred option is at the school, which allows parking in return for a donation in the honesty box. When checked yesterday the campsite was closed and the access gate locked. Do not attempt to park on campground.
Meeting Point: Please meet at the start of the footpath by the pub (5 minute walk from school). The footpath gate is identified by a large notice reminding us that this is an area of natural beauty.
The Scramble: An excellent outing with various options to make it easier or harder.
