Forecast: Currently looking dry for Saturday.
Time: Please note earlier start time of 9.30. This is to maximise parking opportunities as the valley is popular and can get busy.
Parking: There is a small parking area in the hamlet by the telephone box and various places on the road into the hamlet where it is possible to park on the wide verges. If choosing this option please take great care to not to block access or to inconvenience people who live and work in the valley. The preferred option is the school, which allows parking in return for a donation in the honesty box. Do not attempt to park on the campground, which is currently closed.
Meeting Point: Please meet at the start of the footpath near the pub. The footpath gate is identified by a large, colourful notice reminding us that we are in an area of natural beauty.
The Scramble: An excellent route with plenty of scope for easier or harder options.
