From Stuart Kirkwood:
Our next Tuesday meet is at Bram Crag Quarry in St John in the Vale. It is a sport climbing venue with a wide range of grades.
The weather forecast for Tuesday is changing and has moved from yesterday, when dry weather with some sunshine was forecast, to today when rain is predicted. I will see how the forecast evolves and advise accordingly. The quarry itself has a reputation for loose rock, so caution should be exercised.
In addition, the BMC points out that peregrines are nesting in part of the quarry and advise that Bram Crag Wall, The Dark Side and Charcoal Burners areas should be avoided.
