BMC Lakes Area Meeting – Wednesday 19.10.2022

You should have received notification of the BMC Lakes Area meeting next Wednesday (19/10/2022) – details on BMC website – https://community.thebmc.co.uk/Event.aspx?id=4427

The meeting is at the Lyon Equipment HQ at Tebay, next to the M6, junction 38.

There will be a tour of the HQ starting at 6.30pm followed by, initially the AGM, at 7.30pm and then the General Meeting.
A major topic for discussion at the general meeting is a proposal for guidance on Fixed Gear Placements (ie bolts and abseil points) in the Lakes and Cumbria – details of the proposals are on the BMC website area noted above.
This and other issues of the BMC related to climbing, walking etc in the area are important and would hope you are able to come along and put in your pennyworth.
