Wow what a fantastic day, blue sky and warm although quite breezy. Mark, Judith, Jon, Jonathan, Dave H and Steve P made the short walk in towards Black Crag but opting for the delights of Long Scar in preference. A long days climbing saw multiple ascents of Billys Climb, Intruders Corner, Platt Gang Groove, Sam’s Saunter, Forrudd, Katie’s Dilemma, Step to the Right, Heart of the Matter, The Opportunist, Longy Chewed, Green Treacle, Long Scar Groove, Great White and last but not least Dot’s Delight.
The combination of lovely weather, dry grippy rock and a sociable crag made for a perfect final meet of the 2019 season
The group followed tradition and retired to the Talbot Bar for a pint and some burnt dry roasted peanuts (homemade we suspect)
