    Hello,

I’m reaching out to you from The Armitt Museum in Ambleside where we are hosting a talk by Brunel PhD candidate Emily Ankers on her research on women in climbing. The talk is called ‘Battling Gravity and Social Expectations: The Ascent of Women in Climbing’ and will be held on Sunday 6th March 1-3pm. Tickets are £8 per head and there are currently around 25 tickets available. We would really appreciate if you could share the talk with any members of the Keswick Mountaineering Club that might be interested in attending.

Tickets can be bought here https://armitt-library-and-museum-centre.arttickets.org.uk/armitt-library-and-museum-centre/2022-03-06-femininity-and-risk-in-climbing

Any queries please feel free to direct them towards myself or ring The Armitt on 015394 31212.

    Thank you

    Kind regards

    Kate
