As you might have noted from the freshly minted KMC Winter Schedule, we’ve a walk in Wasdale scheduled for this Saturday, 12 Oct. The plan is to meet at Greendale, where there is off-road parking on both sides of the road East of the buildings, for an 0930 depart. W3W: tolerable.unfilled.recount BNG: 314447,505601. We’re aiming to ascend Middlefell and then Seatallan. From Seatallan, depending on conditions, we can loop back to the cars or extend the walk over Haycock for a third Wainwright. Currently the forecast for Saturday is pretty grim (high winds, heavy rain) but with some uncertainty, although the forecast for Sunday is much better. We’ll post again by Friday morning with a final “go/no-go” decision or a plan to move to Sunday.
