The weather forecast for Saturday is currently looking good, dry with light winds. Unless this changes dramatically, my walk will go ahead as planned.
Meet 10am at the car parking area on Loweswater near the old telephone box, (Grid ref: NY121 223). From there, we take the footpath across to Hudson Place to start the steady climb up onto Burnbank Fell, Blake Fell and Gavel.
