Autumn Amble – Back O’Skiddaw Saturday 11 Nov 2023

A group of 12 (17 with the dogs), enjoyed some spectacular sunshine & still conditions, covering 5 Wainwrights including Brae Fell, Great Sea Fell, Knott, Meal Fell & Great Cock-Up. 9 miles & 720m of ascent, with the bogs being relatively benign and not claiming any victims.

Michael K, Mick R, Geraint, Kath and Steve P, Judith, Mark W, Stuart K, Fiona, Lorraine, David W & yours truly then retreated to The Sun Inn at Bassenthwaite to cap of an enjoyable day; thanks everybody for turning out and sharing a great day.
