13 club members met on a claggy Saturday morning with hopes : the sun breaking through ? a glimpse of promised views ? … perhaps an inversion ? Alas we just had wall to wall clag. However this didn’t stop us enjoying a pleasant walk in splendid company, through the glorious autumnal colours of Dodd wood and along the Ullock Pike ridge, conquering 4 Wainwrights en route. This was followed by refreshments in The Sun Inn, Bassenthwaite. Many thanks to Jon, Ali, Richard E, Celia, Judith, Anne B, David W & Lorraine, Mark W, Stuart, Geraint and new member Richard Jones, as well as the many canine trip hazards. Craig
