Some good and many poor routes on a series of fifteen buttresses. Can be quick drying. Imagine(E1), West Side Story(E4), Final Curtain(E6), Too Many Hands(E2), Freebird(E1), Needless Eliminate(E1), Lakeland Pioneers(E1), Fall Out(E1).
Approach – Up to 20-minute walk from the road directly below the crag.

Tuesday’s meet 4th June Buckbarrow, Wasdale – heavy rain is forecast for most of the day so I’m postponing the meet until Thursday 6th when the forecast looks better. Please let me know if you intend to come along. As I’m based out on the west coast and have work I will be making my way to the crag for around 6ish. Anyone able to arrive earlier please arrange car sharing as usual via the club general chat page. Cheers Ros

Hi everyone. Postponed Buckbarrow meet update.
The A595 at Gosforth is currently closed from 7pm to 5am for a few weeks which makes getting in and out of the area to the north after 7pm very difficult so unless you live very near Wasdale or are able to arrive at the crag early during the day and leave before the road closes you may have to take a long detour via hardknott to get out of Wasdale.
Weather forecast is still mixed – met office says low chance of rain for Thurs afternoon.
As I’m not able to get the crag at a sensible time before the road closes it’s unfortunately now not an option for me to attend or lead this meet.
If anyone does get to the crag please can you share what it was like via the usual chat page, if you don’t have access to this meet info page.
