Well. The weather isn’t looking too great at the moment so I’m going to wait until tomorrow morning and then it will hopefully be more obvious as to a decision? It’s not the fastest drying crag, at the moment it’s saying showers till late afternoon so it might be worth going a bit later? I will send out another message in the morning. Jon T

Well the weather hasn’t improved too much but Thursday isn’t looking much better so we will give it a go! I will aim to get there for 4. The met office forecast is now saying the rain is easing from 2 so we could be fine. Probably best to stick with the main middle routes as they dry quicker. Hopefully we will be lucky! Jon

After all the decision making about the weather it was a fine evening and the rain held off. Three routes were done including the classic troutdale pinnacle, troutdale pinnacle direct (with the pitch 2 raindrop variation! and the normal way) and troutdale ridge. As you can imagine there was quite a traffic jam on the pinnacle so most groups took quite a while to emerge at the top of the crag. Present were Richard, Tina, Mark W, Judith, Mark M, Peter, Aileen, Mike, Brendan, Mark H and myself. Once we were down we headed to the Dog and Gun for a pint or two.
