Somewhat of a misnomer as the main buttress is a fine clean sheet of good volcanic rock. Although minor, a nice shady location and relatively easy access make it worth a visit, as do some fine routes such as Hughie Crack (HS), Flake Out(E1 5c), and Arrest Arete (E2 5b)
15-20 mins very steep but steady slog from the parking area on Honister pass below.
