The forecast is looking good, if cold, for Saturday’s (14-2-26) walk. To avoid repeating too much of Judith’s relocated walk from January, we propose to meet for an 0930 departure at the roadside parking at Fangs Brow(///thinking.bronzes.backswing NY 10536 22604) where there is roadside space for a number of cars. Weather permitting, the plan is to follow the ridge line over Blake Fell and on over Gavel Fell, descending northwards to return via Loweswater. Please let us know if you are coming, so we know who to expect. We’ll post on Friday to confirm the plans or to announce any weather induced changes.
