Saturday’s Meet (2 Aug) is at The Napes in Wasdale. This historic crag, although rather broken, provides climbing of all grades in superb surroundings. The crag has been under the cloud for much of this week, and showers are forecast for Thursday and Friday, but the forecast for Saturday is good – so hopefully the rock will be dry, so the meet is on. The plan is to leave the parking at The Green at Wasdale Head at 0900 (to try and beat the crowds) and meet anyone coming up from Borrowdale at the Stretcher Box at Sty Head at 1015. Please let us know (WhatsApp, 07713017740, s.d.price@ucl.ac.uk) if you are coming (and from which direction!) so we know who to look out for. Best, Steve and Kath
