The meet organizers’ meteorological pessimism was (partially) undermined as six members managed a number of climbs under gloomy and lowering skies at Raven Crag in Langdale on Thursday. Geraint, Mark W, Andy B, Jane L and Steve and Kath, between them, managed Middle Fell Buttress, Revelation, Elevation and Odin before the widely forecast evening sunshine arrived as persistent drizzle and light levels that would have stopped play at Lords. A hasty descent to the ODG ensued where the optimists noted that we had indeed managed 3 hours’ good climbing! Thanks to all for a enjoyable afternoon. Steve and Kath
