Head end quarry meet – Tuesday 7th April
Hi all,
The first official Tuesday meet is tomorrow at Head End Quarry.
The weather forecast is good! Full sun and low wind.
The quarry is a great little venue and ideal to blow some of those winter cobwebs off. It’s only about 8 metres tall but has grades from diff to e1 and has a lovely central grassy area to socialise and watch what’s going on. It’s suitable for lead, top rope and even solo if that’s your thing.
There’s about 5 parking places right at the quarry if people park facing the wall and others close by if need be. Please car share if possible. I’ll get there for about 3.30 and I’ll be there till dark. Post climbing drinks at the greyhound at Bothel.
A topo and location are on the links below. I hope to see some people there 🤞🤞😊
