Tuesday’s meet is at Bram Crag Quarry, good single pitch sports climbing. A 60m single rope is ideal and covers most climbs.
The good weather of the last few weeks appears to be coming to an end on Tuesday morning but clearing in the afternoon (and a better forecast than Thursday) so I am optimistic it will be a fine afternoon/evening for climbing 🤞, if a little cooler than we have got used to, I will have to recheck the forecasts on Tuesday morning but seeing that it’s not far from Keswick we could always retreat to Kong
There is room for a few cars on roadside near the climbers path to the quarry https://maps.app.goo.gl/yE3XSRamLWQNt3UJ6 , but there are also laybys within a few hundred metres (Please do not park in Quarry entrance). Many of the more amenable grades are found in the “Centre Parc” area of the crag so this is normally a good place to meet/find people.
I am intending to be at the crag from 15:00 onwards, hope to see you then.
Sports routes are all maintained on a voluntary basis, if you sports climb and wish to give something back you can do so at the Cumbrian Bolt Fund… https://www.cumbriaboltfund.co.uk
