Hello Everyone,
Since my last message, it’s been a very wet and murky four days in West Cumbria. The forecast for tomorrow is for persistent drizzle and cloud cover to low levels, with a stiff breeze; with more rain arriving late afternoon. Given last week’s evidence, the scramble will NOT be in climbable condition. However, Kath and I will leave from the parking on Sat at 0930 to walk the loop over Harter Fell to Hardknott. If anyone would like to join us, they would be most welcome. It’s likely to be very wet underfoot and I’m afraid I cannot promise extensive (or any!) views.
