Goats Crag is in an idyllic setting, with splendid views and on quick drying rock. Gets plenty of sun.

Up to 15m high. Plenty of good short routes from D to E4. The best of which are; Mort (E1), Pussy Galore (E2), Optional Omission (E1), Inner Limits (HVS), Emma Line (HVS), Mackanory (E1)

Approach
20 min steep approach from the Watendlath road, through a field then directly up the fellside.

Hi everyone, weather still seems to be holding out so Tuesday night should be on. It’s at Goats Crag Watendlath with parking for about 4 cars on the road below the crag NY 272 170 with more spaces at the national trust car park at Watendlath. I will aim to be at the crag about 4pm if anyone wants to share a lift in from Keswick let me know via WhatsApp. Anyone planning on joining us let me know so we know who to expect. Quite a few are up in Skye at the moment but there should be enough of us around. See you Tuesday, Jon

What a gorgeous evening with a great group. Members present were myself, Brian, Jonny, Tina, Mike W, Mike K, Phil, Adam, Scott and Mark M. One route was done on the lower crag, I think it was The Niche, then most routs were done on the upper crag including Kid Gloves, The Green, Inner Limits, The Slab, Nightmare Zone, Poland, Everybody’s Dream, Berlin Wall, Son of Oz, Stranger to the Ground and Mull Wait. Probably others also, so ranging from Diff to E3. A drink in the Dog and Gun afterwards finished the evening off nicely
