Goats Crag Meet

These crags are west facing with a great view over Watendlath, a mere twenty minute walk up from the road. On the Upper Crag in particular the routes are clean, varied with a good spread through the grades. Jonathan C, Jon T, Andrew, John Moriaty, Stuart, Bob, Mark and Piers severally climbed The Green, Inner Limits, The Slab, Nightmare Zone, Poland, Everybody’s dream, Son of Oz and Mull Wait. Oh and Left Hand Route on Lower Crag. Afterwards we repaired to the Dog and Gun to join Judith and Fiona who had been swimming in the lake. Great weather, great location.
