Hi all, just a heads up for next Saturday at Dow Crag. Although it’s not looking too good weather wise so far. BBC is suggesting heavy rain and thunder! The Met office isn’t sounding so bad? We can make a decision Thursday evening and go from there. Last Saturday was perfect weather so we could move it forward to then! If only we could. Fingers crossed. Jon

Well, unfortunately it looks like it’s going to be a very wet weekend down around Coniston and Dow crag. Saturday is definitely off and Sunday looks pretty bad also. The weather doesn’t seem quite so bad up in the north lakes so perhaps we could do a walk or scramble nearer home on Sunday or it might change? If anyone has any ideas then get in touch via my email jtrotman57@gmail.com
Why was Scafell crag and Dow crag on the wettest weekends of the summer? I think Judith should lead them all and then they will be like the eskdale meet!
