Details: The meet is on. Forecast mainly dry, light winds, possible shower, chilly.
Route: Walk-in from Seathwaite to Esk Hause, drop down into head of Eskdale. Grade 1 scramble on Cockly Pike Ridge to summit of Ill Crag and descent back to Seathwaite.
    Time: 9.30

Meet at Seathwaite, near the turning area by the farm gates at 9.30. There are places to park along the road – these get full very quickly. There is also a NT car park at Seatoller, which may be quieter but will add a few extra kilometres to your day, so factor that in. If parking on the Seathwaite road please make sure not to block gates or impede access.

If you are coming, please confirm either via Facebook or e-mail to me by Friday night. If you have already told me you are coming by either of these methods you do not need to do this again. (But do let me know if you have to cancel so we don’t wait for people who aren’t coming.)

COVID Stuff: We are running this meet in accordance with BMC COVID risk assessment guidance and UK government COVID regulations as they apply at time of writing. Please act in such a way as to minimise the risks to yourself, others attending the meet, and members of the public, of either contracting or passing on the virus. Carry hand sanitiser and use frequently. Respect social distancing. It goes without saying (I hope) that you must not attend the meet if you have or suspect you might have the virus, or have been instructed to self-isolate or quarantine. If you develop COVID or are instructed to self-isolate with 14 days of the end of the meet you must inform the meet leader who will contact all those who attended.
