Nine of us met at Kern Knotts before taking the climbers traverse across the Napes. The ridges were not in a suitable condition to climb, so we went all the way then ascended the White Napes and on to the summit of Great Gable. Lots of swirling mist, green, wet rock and a great team effort getting across the slippery bits made for a memorable day out.
Afterwards refreshments were had at the Gosforth Hall Hotel.
Thanks to all who came along and enjoyed the scrambling: Ann, Kath, Judith, Chris, Steve, Jamie, Richard Mark W
